“The stars are like letters which inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky . . . . Everything in the world is full of signs. . . . All events are coordinated. . . . All things depend on each other; as has been said, ‘Everything breathes together.’”
– Plotinus

Book A Session

Your psyche is mirrored in the movements of the cosmos. This insight can provide a deep sense of meaning that many are longing for in our era of disenchanted materialism. The art of astrology—defined as the archetypal interpretation of the planetary positions in relation to the human psyche and world events—can be a profound tool for exploring the dynamic unfolding of one’s psyche and life path.

About Archetypal Cosmology & Astrology

The archetypal perspective has been a continual presence throughout my life, and I have been working intensively with astrology since 2010. The form of astrology I practice is part of a discipline known as Archetypal Cosmology, and focuses primarily on the geometrical relationships between the planetary bodies of our solar system. I have written several essays on the discipline, and am co-editor of Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology.

I offer astrological consultations that explore both the natal chart—the position of the planets at the moment of one’s birth—as well as personal transits—the relationships formed between the continuous movements of the planets and the natal chart. To learn more about archetypal astrology, please read the essay Introduction To Archetypal Astrology written by Richard Tarnas.

My Approach to a Reading

My approach is to be in engaged dialogue with the client, learning your story and perspective. I welcome questions and conversation, and create a therapeutic learning environment for the client. I am particularly drawn to work with individuals who are integrating major transformative experiences or are at a new threshold in their lives. I often work with individuals who are integrating holotropic breathwork sessions and other such holistic healing modalities.

Astrology Sessions

If you are interested in having an astrological consultation with me, I offer 90-minute sessions for individuals and couples, as well as 60-minute sessions for returning clients. I offer sliding scale for those who need it (please contact me for rates). I offer readings online via Zoom video conferencing or by phone, and for those living in the Nevada City area of California I offer readings in person. You will receive a video and audio recording of the session for your later reference.

Synastry Readings

I also offer synastry readings of the relationship between the charts of two people, with the policy that each of the clients has had an individual astrology reading previously. A synastry reading can provide insight into the dynamics of a relationship, whether between a couple, a parent and child, two friends, or work colleagues.

Astrological Teaching

If you are interested in learning more about astrology, I have an introductory online course available entitled Awakening to Archetypal Astrology. The course is offered through the Academy of Oracle Arts and is an evergreen course, which means you can begin the course at any time and go at your own pace. Learn more and register for the course here.

I look forward to working with you!

Wild blessings,
Becca
