“The stars are like letters which inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky . . . . Everything in the world is full of signs. . . . All events are coordinated. . . . All things depend on each other; as has been said, ‘Everything breathes together.’”
Your psyche is mirrored in the movements of the cosmos. This insight can provide a deep sense of meaning that many feel a longing for in our postmodern era of disenchanted materialism. The art of astrology—defined as the archetypal interpretation of the planetary positions in relation to the human psyche and world events—can be a profound tool for the exploration of the dynamic unfolding of one’s psyche and life path.
The archetypal perspective has been a continual presence throughout my life, and I have been working intensively with astrology since 2010. The form of astrology I practice is also known as Archetypal Cosmology and focuses primarily on the geometrical relationships between the planetary bodies of our solar system. I have written several essays on the discipline, and am co-editor of Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology.
I offer astrological consultations that explore both the natal chart—the position of the planets at the moment of one’s birth—as well as personal transits—the relationships formed between the continuous movements of the planets and the natal chart. I also offer synastry readings of the relationship between the charts of two people, with the policy that each of the clients has had an individual astrology reading previously. To learn more about archetypal astrology, please read the essay Introduction To Archetypal Astrology written by Richard Tarnas.
If you are interested in having an astrological consultation with me, I offer 90 and 120 minute sessions for individuals and couples, as well as 60 minute sessions for returning clients. I offer sliding scale for those who need it (please contact me for rates). For those living in the Bay Area I offer readings in person, and am also happy to give readings by phone or over Skype for those living in the wider world.
Rates for astrological sessions:
90 minutes – $160
120 minutes – $200
60 minutes (for returning clients) – $120
To schedule an astrological reading please email me through my Contact Page.
I look forward to our time working together,
